DIRECTIONS

FROM TAUNTON/JUNCTION 25 - M5

Take the A358 (Easterly Direction) to Roundabout. Take the second exit following signs to Ilminster Town Centre. Proceed along this road for 1.5 miles (ignoring town centre sign on right) passing the Police and Fire Station. Take turning (to the right) to Kingstone and Crewkerne. Pass through the village of Kingstone . Ignore the first signpost to Chillington and Cudworth and then take the next right signposted Chillington 1 1/2 miles (you have traveled 2.7 miles from the Kingstone and Crewkerne turning in Ilminster). Proceed along this road until you reach a crossroads (approx 1 mile) with a 6' width warning sign. Take the sharp right turn and follow this for less than 1/2 mile watching carefully for your first opportunity to turn left. Turn left and 'Ashponds' is on the right - easily identifiable with the former Village Hall within our grounds.

A303 TRAVELLING WEST

Follow A303 as far as Hayes End roundabout. Take the first main exit (signposted Lopen 1 1/2 miles and Barrington Court) immediately passing the Esso Petrol Station. Follow this road for 1 mile to Lopen Head Roundabout with the Poulett Arms Public House. Turn left following the signpost for Merriott, Lopen etc. Down the hill and round the sharp right hand bend. At the next bend take the country lane on right hand side (Snapant) signposted Dinnington. Continue past the Dinnington Docks Public House on the right hand side. Follow the sign for Chillington and Crewkerne At the junction (2.2 miles from Lopen) go straight across following signpost for Chillington 1 1/2 miles. Proceed along this road until you reach a crossroads (approx 1 mile) with a 6' width warning sign. Take the sharp right turn and follow this for less than 1/2 mile watching carefully for your first opportunity to turn left. Turn left and 'Ashponds' is on the right - easily identifiable with the former Village Hall within our grounds.

A303/A30 TRAVELLING EAST (FROM EXETER, HONITON, CHARD ETC)

Take A30 to Chard. Continue through the centre of Chard following A30 signs to Yeovil. You will come in to Cricket St Thomas and continue past the Windwhistle Golf and Country Club on the left and also the Windwhistle Inn. Shortly after the Windwhistle Inn follow signpost (left) off the A30 to Chillington and Cudworth. You will go down a steep hill (ignore signpost and turning to Cudworth) take the next left. After about a third of a mile take the next right, drop down the hill and the road will twist around. Follow the road as it starts to climb and at the top of the hill 'Ashponds' is on the left - easily identifiable with the former Village Hall within our grounds.

A30 EAST (FROM CREWKERNE AND SOUTH EAST ETC)

Take A30 from Crewkerne to Chard. After a few miles you will arrive in Cricket St Thomas. Follow the signpost on the right hand side to Chillington and Cudworth. You will go down a steep hill (ignore signpost and turning to Cudworth) take the next left. After about a third of a mile take the next right, drop down the hill and the road will twist around. Follow the road as it starts to climb and at the top of the hill 'Ashponds' is on the left - easily identifiable with the former Village Hall within our grounds.
